Ashton captivates the hearts of listeners with his soothing voice. He is an Artist who's unique style embodies Caribbean/Rnb/Indian Music.

Ashton was born into a family of musicians and comes from a Guyanese heritage. Watching his father play the bass guitar, sing, and perform generated a great deal of inspiration at a very young age. At age 9, he began writing and composing his own music. At 8 years old he began studying Indian Classical Music with his Gurus; Payal & Kinnar Seen. In High School and College (JC Performing Arts High School & NJCU) he studied Jazz, Pop/R&B, Cabaret, and Western Classical music.

 

Ashton holds a Degree in Music Business and Vocal Performance. He sings in the languages English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Telegu, German, Italian, and Spanish. During his collegiate experience, he studied with Vocal Instructor, Dr. William Riley – who has coached artists such as Stevie Wonder, Usher, and Celine Dion.

“I heard something like this recently: That if you’ve got three buckets of water, and one is blue, black, and green, at the end of the day all of the buckets are the same, because they’re all still water on the inside. This is how I approach my music; by blending genres and cultures, it creates awareness of oneness, togetherness, and love through music, rather than separating us.”
